Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately
- Prior cooking experience in a restaurant or food service environment is beneficial but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Job Duties
- Prepare food according to IHOP recipes and specifications
- Maintain food preparation within designated ticket times
- Read and interpret food tickets or verbal instructions
- Use knives and food preparation equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate large volume cooking equipment including flat tops, deep fryers, and stoves
- Set up kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients before service
- Clean and sanitize workstations following health and safety guidelines
