Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument qualification
- meet PHI's total flight time requirements
- hold a current Class II FAA Medical Certificate
- have 2000 hours total flight time with 1500 hours in helicopter
- have 1000 hours PIC helicopters
- meet and maintain weight restriction limit for flight personnel
- strong verbal communication skills
- able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background check
- reside within one-hour commute of base

Job Duties
- ensure all paperwork is finished in a neat and accurate manner
- keep the Lead Pilot and Area Manager informed of the operational status of aircraft and ensure aircraft is airworthy before, during, and after flight
- represent PHI in a professional manner including neat appearance and courteous behavior to all customers
- comply with other duties as assigned by supervisors
- report all aircraft mechanical malfunctions by entering them in the aircraft engineering logbook
- communicate mission status elements including itineraries, estimated time of arrival with medical crew, passengers, Communication Center, and Maintenance
- load and unload stretcher patients and/or isolettes onto aircraft
- complete written logs and reports as required by the company and FAA
- support company Safety Management System activities
- perform any other duties as assigned
