Job Requirements
- Must hold commercial and instrument helicopter ratings
- Possess first class medical certificate
- Have at least 2,000 total flight hours
- Have minimum 1,500 helicopter hours
- Have at least 1,000 PIC helicopter hours
- Have 500 hours turbine helicopter experience
- Have 100 hours unaided night or 50 hours unaided and 100 hours NVG
- Must meet flight personnel weight restriction limit of 235 lbs or less
- Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam
- Must pass drug screening and background check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assist in lifting 100 pounds for patient and equipment loading
- Must interview and be accepted by customer/PHI management
Job Qualifications
- Commercial helicopter rating
- Instrument helicopter rating
- First class medical certificate
- Minimum 2,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 helicopter flight hours
- Minimum 1,000 PIC helicopter hours
- Minimum 500 turbine helicopter hours
- Minimum 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided plus 100 hours NVG
- Minimum 100 hours instrument flying (actual and hood)
- Strong communication skills
- Proven internal and external customer service skills
- Ability to pass pre-placement physical and background checks
Job Duties
- Pilot two-pilot H145 IFR/NVG helicopter air ambulance operations
- Conduct 24-hour day/night flight rotations
- Participate in community outreach programs
- Adhere to PHI Air Medical policies and safety standards
- Assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment
- Perform line pilot duties according to GOM
- Support and promote company safety campaigns and systems
