Job Requirements
- Must have a current Texas driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years of age to be insured under the company’s insurance policy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintain a clean driving record within approved insurance provider guidelines
- Ability to stand at least 8 hours constantly, walk, sit, talk/hear, push/pull, climb, bend/stoop, crouch/kneel/crawl, taste/smell, balance, twist/reach, carry, grasp with hands, squat, and drive
- Lift/pull up to 60 lbs. daily
- Ability to hear alarms, communication equipment, verbal instructions, machinery and area specific items such as forklift and pallet jack
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to operate company vehicle (box truck 26 foot and over) in compliance with Texas laws
- Ability to operate electrical pallet jack and 2-wheeler
- Act with integrity and professionalism
- Ability to make rapid and thorough decisions and solve problems with good judgment
- Ability to work in cold environments
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Purchase ice at vendor location
- Load, transport, and deliver ice to company sites in a safe and timely manner
- Pull orders and build outbound loads for daily route assignments and schedules
- Responsible for product rotation at the store level to ensure product freshness
- Courteous and safety conscious driver with awareness of protecting the company image
- Assist with in-bound freight as necessary
- Work with other team members to balance daily tasks
- Provide excellent guest service during delivery interactions
- Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when necessary
- Handle goods with care to prevent damage or loss
- Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues to the site manager
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness, appearance and mechanical operation of the company vehicle in keeping with company standards
- Report any and all service needs to manager
- Support and facilitate organizational changes, continuous improvement and communication
- Embody personal leadership qualities through being present, volunteering discretionary effort, modeling desired behaviors, showing curiosity and courage, and taking personal accountability
