Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to see and operate store equipment
- Ability to prepare and serve ice cream and related products
- Ability to handle cash and payment transactions accurately
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to move and stock merchandise
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work in cold and warm temperature conditions
- Ability to lift up to 21 pounds safely
Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate equipment and check identification
- Ability to understand and follow operating instructions
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies
- Ability to handle various payment methods accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers and perform arithmetic for records
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and product presentation
- Ability to work in temperature conditions from -30 to +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to lift and move merchandise of various weights as required
Job Duties
- Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience greeting guests warmly
- prepare shakes, malts, cones, hand-packed containers, and sundaes
- accurately operate the point of sale system and gas console handling all transactions
- stock shelves, displays, milk boxes, and freezers ensuring proper rotation and presentation
- maintain awareness to minimize shoplifting and gas drive-offs, control cash levels, and adhere to all safety and compliance protocols
- ensure the store and surrounding areas are clean, safe, and organized
- complete accurate time records and other required documentation
- perform other duties as assigned by management
