Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food items according to recipes
- ensure all food products are properly prepared before cooking, plating, and presentation
- execute menu items according to designated times and prescribed recipes
- interact with guests and coworkers professionally
- prepare food products according to prescribed methods
- follow and maintain cook times
- maintain high food quality
- receive and store products per local health regulations
- maintain clean and safe kitchen and environment
- maintain clean and dry floors
- clean and organize walk-in, dry storage, and freezer areas regularly
- follow all health and safety regulations including maintaining Food Handler's Certification
- follow restaurant regulations as outlined by management
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- clean and maintain equipment and utensils
- report equipment issues immediately
- arrive on time ready to work
- wear proper uniform
- follow proper storage, rotation, and sanitation procedures
- label and date prepared products
- communicate and work collaboratively with team
- follow management instructions
- respond to kitchen staff requests professionally
