Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food items according to recipes
  • ensure all food products are properly prepared before cooking, plating, and presentation
  • execute menu items according to designated times and prescribed recipes
  • interact with guests and coworkers professionally
  • prepare food products according to prescribed methods
  • follow and maintain cook times
  • maintain high food quality
  • receive and store products per local health regulations
  • maintain clean and safe kitchen and environment
  • maintain clean and dry floors
  • clean and organize walk-in, dry storage, and freezer areas regularly
  • follow all health and safety regulations including maintaining Food Handler's Certification
  • follow restaurant regulations as outlined by management
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • clean and maintain equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues immediately
  • arrive on time ready to work
  • wear proper uniform
  • follow proper storage, rotation, and sanitation procedures
  • label and date prepared products
  • communicate and work collaboratively with team
  • follow management instructions
  • respond to kitchen staff requests professionally
  • read and understand tickets including modifications
