Job Duties
- Primarily responsible for cooking and preparing food items according to recipes
- Ensure all food products are prepared correctly before cooking, plating, and presentation
- Execute menu items within designated times given by Chef de Cuisine
- Interact with guests and coworkers professionally
- Prepare all food products according to prescribed methods and recipes
- Follow and maintain cook times for prepared items
- Maintain the highest level of food quality
- Receive and store products according to health regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and work environment
- Clean and organize storage areas regularly
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
- Report any equipment issues immediately
- Arrive on time and in proper uniform
- Follow food storage and sanitation guidelines
- Label and date all prepared products
- Work cooperatively with management and coworkers
- Respond to verbal requests in a timely manner
- Read and understand kitchen tickets
- Assemble and dismantle workstations
- Maintain cleanliness of work station during shift
