Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food items according to recipes
- Ensure food products are correctly prepared before cooking and plating
- Execute menu items within designated cooking times
- Interact professionally with guests and coworkers
- Maintain highest food quality standards
- Receive and store products following health regulations
- Maintain clean and safe kitchen environment
- Clean and organize storage areas regularly
- Follow health and safety regulations including Food Handler's Certification
- Follow restaurant regulations as outlined by management
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain kitchen tools and equipment
- Report equipment issues to supervisors
- Arrive on time and ready to work
- Wear proper uniform in work areas
- Follow proper storage, rotation, and sanitation procedures
- Label and date all prepared products
- Work collaboratively with coworkers and management
- Follow management's instructions
- Respond promptly to verbal requests in the kitchen
- Read and understand tickets and menu modifications
- Assemble and dismantle workstations efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of station during shifts
