Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in high-volume upscale restaurants
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- strong knowledge of bar equipment and drink preparation
- current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- commitment to punctuality and professional appearance

Job Duties
- Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
- arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
- assemble/dismantle bar area according to proper procedures
- maintain cleanliness of entire bar during shift
- prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups, etc. according to the proper procedure recipe
- assist guests with any questions or concerns in regards to the menu including liquor, beer, and wine knowledge
- handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at all tables
- pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
- communicate any questions or issues to management team promptly
- communicate and work together with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
- perform appropriate opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations after every shift
- set up the team for the next shift for success
- practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
- participate in continuing education courses
- maintain beverage inventory and restock service bar prior to shift end
- assist in washing and restocking glassware
- maintain records of spills and comps
- clean and maintain all equipment and utensils
- report equipment issues immediately to supervisor
- have complete knowledge of food and bar menu and mixing drinks according to Ida Claire's recipes
