Job Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation
  • 2+ years management experience in food and beverage or equivalent
  • Food Manager certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Safe Alcohol Server certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to use or learn administrative tools like Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Sheets
  • reliable transportation
  • English proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management experience in food and beverage or equivalent in retail, grocery, hospitality, hotels, event venues, healthcare, construction, or military
  • embody company vision, values, standards for customer service, food quality, and code of conduct
  • ability to motivate staff and hold them accountable
  • good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • strong communication skills
  • organizational ability and time management
  • Food Manager certification or willingness to obtain
  • Safe Alcohol Server certification or willingness to obtain
  • English proficiency
  • bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and train general staff, shift leaders, and department supervisors
  • conduct effective performance reviews and everyday performance conversations
  • manage inventory and vendor relationships
  • place accurate product orders and train others on product ordering
  • plan and execute meeting agendas including all staff, supervisor team, and management meetings
  • communicate staffing and scheduling needs to the general manager and recruitment team
  • identify opportunities to improve store performance and implement new systems
