Job Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation
- 2+ years management experience in food and beverage or equivalent
- Food Manager certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Safe Alcohol Server certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to use or learn administrative tools like Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Sheets
- reliable transportation
- English proficiency
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience in food and beverage or equivalent in retail, grocery, hospitality, hotels, event venues, healthcare, construction, or military
- embody company vision, values, standards for customer service, food quality, and code of conduct
- ability to motivate staff and hold them accountable
- good judgment and problem-solving skills
- strong communication skills
- organizational ability and time management
- Food Manager certification or willingness to obtain
- Safe Alcohol Server certification or willingness to obtain
- English proficiency
- bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead and train general staff, shift leaders, and department supervisors
- conduct effective performance reviews and everyday performance conversations
- manage inventory and vendor relationships
- place accurate product orders and train others on product ordering
- plan and execute meeting agendas including all staff, supervisor team, and management meetings
- communicate staffing and scheduling needs to the general manager and recruitment team
- identify opportunities to improve store performance and implement new systems
