Job Duties

Managing a dispatch team that schedules and coordinates deliveries and pick-ups
Ensuring that data related to deliveries and shipments of freight are entered timely into tracking software
Managing customer service satisfaction by providing updates on ETA and location of drivers
Tracking delivery progress of shipments
Managing the zoning of driver dispatches to ensure they are cost effective routes
Keeping records of all goods shipped, received, and stored
Managing and tracking detention times accurately per shipment
