Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous supervisory, airport, housekeeping or service-related experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must comply with the company's uniform and grooming standards and wear SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times
- Ability to stand and walk for 2 to 3 or more hours per work shift
- Ability to talk, hear, and use hands to handle or feel, bend and/or crawl for 2 to 3 or more of the work shift
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds or more for up to 2 to 3 of the work shift
- Must have identification with current address such as state ID or driver's license
- Must have citizenship verification including US passport or birth certificate/naturalization with SSN for US citizens, or green card or employment authorization document accompanied by SSN card for foreign nationals
- Must be able to comply with TSA, MWAA, and CBP requirements for SIDA badge application
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous supervisory, airport, housekeeping or service-related experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from passengers, clients, customers and the general public
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Must wear appropriate uniform and badge/ID at all times
- Must comply with ABM Industry Standards of Employment and all company policies including Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy
- Must comply with regulatory agency requirements including ADA, ACAA, DOT, TSA, FAA, and federal, state and local authorities
Job Duties
- Distribute cleaning schedules to cabin team members and allocate agents to work designated aircraft zones
- Maintain and distribute all cabin cleaning supplies and tools to team members
- Monitor and direct agents to perform duties according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Clean aircraft interiors within appropriate timeframes including crew rest and bunk areas, lavatories, galleys, and cabin area
- Ensure correct safety cards are placed in each seatback and linens and headsets are properly provisioned
- Conduct on-the-job coaching and mentoring of cleaning team members
- Provide team members performance input into the cabin agent evaluation process
- Administer and comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures
- Perform basic administrative duties including user checks on company equipment, daily staffing and work schedules, and security search sheets
- Serve as guide to cabin "High-lift" drivers as they approach designated aircraft to perform cabin cleaning services (if applicable)
- Supervise cabin agents
