Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must be able to communicate effectively through English language
  • able to stand and walk for two-thirds or more of the work shift
  • able to talk, hear, use hands to handle or feel, bend and/or crawl for two-thirds or more of the work shift
  • able to lift up to 75 pounds or more for up to two-thirds of the work shift
  • must wear appropriate uniform and badge or ID at all times
  • comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards
  • must have identification with current address such as state ID or driver's license
  • must have citizenship verification such as US passport, birth certificate, naturalization with SSN for US citizens or green card or employment authorization document accompanied by SSN card for foreign nationals
  • must be willing to work Saturday, Sunday, and three weekdays for five consecutive days
  • must be able to meet onboarding process requirements which may take up to four weeks
  • must comply with company policies including zero tolerance discrimination, harassment, retaliation, ethics, and security policies
  • must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance including SIDA badge as per TSA, MWAA, and CBP regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • previous airport, housekeeping, or service-related experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from passengers, clients, and customers
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems in standardized situations
  • must comply with company grooming and uniform standards and wear SIDA badge or airport ID at all times

Job Duties

  • Distribute cleaning schedule to cabin team members and allocate agents to designated aircraft zones
  • maintain and distribute all cabin cleaning supplies and tools to team members
  • monitor and direct agents to perform duties according to standard operating procedures
  • clean aircraft interiors including crew rest and bunk areas, lavatories, galleys, and cabin area within appropriate timeframes
  • ensure correct safety card placement and proper provisioning of linens and headsets
  • conduct on-the-job coaching and mentoring of cleaning team members
  • provide performance input for cabin agent evaluations
  • administer and comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
  • perform basic administrative duties including equipment user checks, daily staffing and work schedules, and security search sheets
  • serve as a guide to cabin "High-lift" drivers when applicable
