Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must meet all requirements to receive airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal if applicable
- Successful completion of background check and verification of ten-year work history
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work a schedule including Saturdays, Sundays, and three weekdays (five consecutive days total)
- Compliance with company policies including zero tolerance discrimination and harassment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving
- Willingness to work in noisy environments and exposed to weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in janitorial and/or facilities maintenance preferred
- Proven experience in operations and supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and consecutive days
- Customer-oriented skills
- Previous management experience preferred
- Ability to comply with company grooming and ID badge policies
- Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively with employees, colleagues, and clients to ensure performance and quality requirements
- Maintain positive relationships with client representatives
- Coordinate and communicate with site cleaners
- Assist in day-to-day operations including cleaning as necessary
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise employee performance
- Ensure and comply with all safety requirements
- Delegate work assignments, monitor activities, and provide regular feedback
- Develop subordinate skills and encourage growth
- Perform all duties expected of employees and other duties as required
- Supervise front-line employees on designated account and shift
