Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary experience or culinary degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Food Handlers Certification as per state regulations
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
  • Excellent communication skills with active listening
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make swift decisions
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and service

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field
  • Food Handlers Certification required (must comply with State requirements)
  • Strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action

  • Prepare and supervise food items with precision, ensuring every dish meets high standards of quality, portioning, and presentation
  • Lead and assist kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations and consistently deliver high-quality food and service
