Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years experience in hospitality or hotel management
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work more than 47.5 hours per week as required
  • Experience directing a team of three or more full-time associates
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment regularly
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in hotel management or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple departments and teams effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Job Duties

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by supervising operating departments in the absence of the General Manager and/or Manager on Duty
  • Assist the General Manager in achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, and guest satisfaction
  • Develop and support associates to enhance their performance and growth
  • Direct the work of at least three full-time associates or their equivalents
  • Utilize discretion and independent judgment in administrative, executive, or professional tasks
  • Monitor and maintain operational standards across departments
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
