Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- vision requirements including color vision and ability to see within 20 inches to 20 feet
- ability to perform balancing, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- willingness to work in an environment exposed to noise, temperature extremes and cleaning chemicals
- must report to work as scheduled and on time
- successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications

- ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy products, passing along customer suggestions, and performing tasks to enhance the shopping experience
- answers telephone promptly and provides friendly service
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- prepares woks including cleaning, heating, and oiling
- cooks soups first then meats
- prepares vegetables and ready sauces adding spices
- combines ingredients with the meat
- places food in hot cases, monitors amounts, and refills as necessary
- orders product and supplies or notifies department head
- cleans work area at end of shift
- fills cold case with fresh-made food
- prepares items for the next day
- understands all aspects of Hy-Chi kitchen
- maintains personal hygiene and dress as per guidelines
- adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work as scheduled and on time
