Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months or less of relevant experience
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, finger dexterity, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- basic math skills
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- positive attitude toward customer service
- adherence to hygiene and dress policies

Job Duties
- provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and assist them
- answers the telephone promptly and takes customer orders
- takes customer orders at the Hy-Chi Department counter
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- reviews orders for the day
- understands and practices proper sanitation procedures
- reviews the status and appearance of the food for freshness
- ensures that an adequate food supply is ready and on hand
- anticipates product needs
- prepares, finishes, and replenishes product as necessary
- pulls product from cooler/freezer to prepare for cooking
- checks in product, puts product away, and reviews invoices
- runs the department register and receives payment where applicable
- removes trash in a timely manner
- maintains strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- adheres to company policies and reports to work on time
- washes dishes as necessary
- orders product and supplies
- prices product for customers
- delivers orders as needed
- assists in other areas as needed
- performs other job-related duties and special projects
