Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in the commercial HVAC and refrigeration industry
  • EPA certification
  • Must be able to work independently and without supervision
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Manages and develops the Service/ Office Staff, which includes hiring, terminating and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective production/ profit
  • Evaluates workload and prioritizes works orders with dispatch department
  • Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensures that material and equipment are ordered in a timely fashion
  • Generate reports and measure department performance
  • Assists and support in developing new business opportunities
  • Evaluates staff to determine training requirements, assist in hands on training, and scheduling manufacturer training for employees
  • Ensure that all employees are observing all company safety requirements
