Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 3 years experience in human resources or related field
- OR 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related major with at least 1 year experience
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to work full-time onsite
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- willingness to relocate if needed
- ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 1 year experience
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage recruitment, training, and employee relations
- knowledge of HR compliance and legal requirements
- experience working in hospitality or a fast-paced environment preferred
Job Duties
- Assists in the interviewing and hiring of Human Resource employee team members with appropriate skills
- establishes and maintains contact with external recruitment sources
- attends job fairs and documents outreach efforts
- networks with local organizations to source candidates
- oversees candidate identification and selection process
- provides subject matter expertise to property managers regarding selection procedures
- partners with vendor partners for effective advertisement efforts
- works with unemployment services provider to respond to unemployment claims
- prepares, audits and distributes unemployment claim activity reports
- attends unemployment hearings
- supports departmental orientation and training programs
- ensures employees are cross-trained for daily operations
- supervises ongoing training initiatives
- assists in maintaining effective employee communication channels
- reviews progressive discipline documentation
- acknowledges employee problems timely
- partners with Loss Prevention for accident investigations
- ensures employee files compliance and confidentiality
- facilitates drug testing process
- communicates property rules and safety policies
- manages Workers Compensation claims
- oversees proper selection and offer processes
