Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 3 years experience in human resources or related field
  • OR 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related major with at least 1 year experience
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work full-time onsite
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • willingness to relocate if needed
  • ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 1 year experience
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage recruitment, training, and employee relations
  • knowledge of HR compliance and legal requirements
  • experience working in hospitality or a fast-paced environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Assists in the interviewing and hiring of Human Resource employee team members with appropriate skills
  • establishes and maintains contact with external recruitment sources
  • attends job fairs and documents outreach efforts
  • networks with local organizations to source candidates
  • oversees candidate identification and selection process
  • provides subject matter expertise to property managers regarding selection procedures
  • partners with vendor partners for effective advertisement efforts
  • works with unemployment services provider to respond to unemployment claims
  • prepares, audits and distributes unemployment claim activity reports
  • attends unemployment hearings
  • supports departmental orientation and training programs
  • ensures employees are cross-trained for daily operations
  • supervises ongoing training initiatives
  • assists in maintaining effective employee communication channels
  • reviews progressive discipline documentation
  • acknowledges employee problems timely
  • partners with Loss Prevention for accident investigations
  • ensures employee files compliance and confidentiality
  • facilitates drug testing process
  • communicates property rules and safety policies
  • manages Workers Compensation claims
  • oversees proper selection and offer processes
