Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1 year experience in human resources, management operations, or related area
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work full time at Philadelphia Airport Marriott location
  • Compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Ability to attend job fairs and participate in property meetings
  • Willingness to partner with external recruitment and vendor sources
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 1 year experience
  • Knowledge of recruitment and hiring processes
  • Experience with employee benefits administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage employee relations and compliance
  • Skills in training and employee development
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance practices in human resources
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate employee records

Job Duties

  • Assist in interviewing and hiring human resource employee team members with appropriate skills
  • Establish and maintain contact with external recruitment sources
  • Attend job fairs and document outreach efforts per human resource standard operating procedures
  • Network with local organizations to source candidates for current or future openings
  • Oversee and monitor candidate identification and selection process
  • Provide subject matter expertise to property managers regarding selection procedures
  • Partner with vendor partners to ensure effective advertisement efforts for open positions
  • Work with unemployment services provider to respond to claims and review reports for accuracy
  • Prepare, audit, and distribute unemployment claim activity reports to property management
  • Attend unemployment hearings and ensure proper property representation
  • Support departmental orientation programs for new hire training
  • Ensure employees are cross-trained to support daily operations
  • Use all available job training tools and supervise ongoing training initiatives
  • Facilitate coordination of new hire orientation programs to emphasize guest service
  • Assist in maintaining effective employee communication channels
  • Review progressive discipline documentation for accuracy and consistency
  • Utilize an open door policy to acknowledge employee concerns timely
  • Partner with Loss Prevention to conduct employee accident investigations
  • Ensure employee files have required paperwork and are maintained securely
  • Facilitate drug testing processes where applicable
  • Communicate property rules and regulations via employee handbook
  • Manage workers compensation claims to ensure proper employee care
  • Oversee selection and non-selection offer processes to ensure proper procedures
