Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience in hospitality
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Paycom
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Willingness to travel regularly to hotel properties
  • High degree of confidentiality and professional integrity

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive HR generalist experience in hospitality
  • Experience as a leadership influencer building strong relationships
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • High level of confidentiality, diplomacy, and judgment
  • SHRM-SCP, SCP, SPHR, or PHR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of HRIS Paycom preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic mindset with ability to translate business needs into HR solutions
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel regularly between properties and corporate office

Job Duties

  • Partner with hotel general managers and corporate leadership to align HR strategy with operational goals
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and support to the corporate HR team ensuring consistency and excellence in HR operations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives that strengthen company culture, improve retention, and enhance performance across all properties
  • Lead workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning for the hotels
  • Lead the new-hire orientation process
  • Oversee a team of 3 HR corporate team members
  • Participate in EEO, unemployment, wage and hour, worker's compensation, OSHA, and ADA hearings
  • Guide hotel management with employee relations issues to promote team member morale and development
  • Manage leave of absence programs and ensure compliance with federal and state protected leave programs
  • Administer annual team member feedback surveys and recommend improvements
  • Oversee administration of the HRIS system (Paycom) including compliance audits and training
  • Recommend and approve all employee transactions in Paycom such as new hires, transfers, and promotions
  • Participate in and monitor the safety committee and establish safety incentive programs
