Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • assist and support management and leadership teams with human resources problem resolution
  • assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures
  • monitor and assist managers and supervisors with hiring processes and issues
  • coordinate and conduct drug testing, reference checks, background verifications, motor vehicle department checks, and social security number verifications
  • maintain records of applicant flow, drug tests, orientation, and transfer requests
  • create and maintain new employee and personnel files and enter data into human resources information systems
  • assist with new employee orientation
  • ensure hiring processes comply with local, state, and federal laws and company policies
  • maintain accurate records and files of employee documentation such as interview documents and I-9 forms
  • support payroll processing and recordkeeping according to policies as needed
  • report employee relations issues to human resources managers within the division or property
  • create and maintain filing systems
  • generate human resources data reports as needed
  • answer phone calls and take messages
  • create and type correspondence using a computer
  • act as a human resources subject matter expert and participate in project teams
  • train new employees on human resources processes, programs, policies, and information systems
  • abide by all company policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of company information
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • prepare and review documents accurately and on time
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • move, lift, transport, push, pull and position objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance
  • carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
