Job Requirements
- At least a high school diploma
- One to two years of relevant experience in human resources or office administration
- Valid Virginia driver’s license
- Fully insured to drive and operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to travel up to 25 percent to multiple office locations
- Proficiency in HR and administrative software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Good organizational and time management skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred
- Minimum one to two years of relevant experience in human resources, office management, or office administration
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources or administrative position
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook
- Experience with HR databases and EMR systems
- Ability to work with ATS software
- In-depth understanding of sourcing tools like resume databases and online communities
- Familiarity with social media recruiting
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Excellent speaking and listening skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to relate and connect with diverse individuals
Job Duties
- Support the recruitment and hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain the team’s agenda, coordinate training sessions and seminars, perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
- Maintain records of personnel-related data including payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates in both paper and database formats and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Liaise with other departments such as payroll and benefits to ensure smooth HR operations
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity and assist in ad-hoc HR projects like collection of employee feedback
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance, redirect HR related calls or correspondence to appropriate team members
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
