Job Requirements
- associates degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in administrative role
- 1+ years of experience in human resources preferred
- valid driver's license
- liability insurance coverage
- bilingual ability in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- ability to work inside an office and occasionally outdoors
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- associates degree in related field or equivalent preferred
- aPHR or related certification preferred
- 2+ years of administrative experience required
- 1+ years of human resources experience preferred
- experience in non-profit or community action agency preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- excellent time management skills
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work independently
- ability to prioritize tasks
- proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- proficiency in HRIS and talent management software preferred

Job Duties
- maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation
- performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure required documents are collected and filed
- retrieves information from records and prepares written summaries
- performs timely and accurate data entry and maintains HRIS systems
- coordinates and schedules department travel, meetings, and training
- prepares agendas and distributes meeting notes
- answers and transfers phone calls
- accepts and distributes mail and packages
- compiles and distributes reports
- answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees
- assists with payroll functions
- acts as liaison with external providers and vendors
- conducts or assists in talent acquisition and new hire orientation
- assists with planning and executing special events
- participates in HR committee meetings
- assists with labor law compliance
- provides HR support to employees
- provides clerical support to HR department
- conducts self work ethically following PCS standards
- attends organizational meetings and staff days
- performs other duties as assigned
