Job Qualifications

  • basic understanding of hr principles, practices, and employment laws
  • proficiency in microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint) and ability to learn hris systems
  • strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills
  • attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in hr processes and documentation
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in hr practices
  • 1-3 years of experience in administrative roles with exposure to hr functions, or relevant internships

Job Duties

  • assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
  • recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants
  • collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verification
  • implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
  • perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs
  • handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
  • attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources
  • perform other duties as assigned
