Job Duties
- Manage employee data including new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations in HR systems
- Assist with recruitment by screening applications, assessing qualifications, and recommending hires
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Handle payroll inquiries and maintain personnel records
- Support employment transactions such as promotions, transfers, reductions-in-force, and classification reviews
- Coordinate employee recognition programs and events
- Maintain compliance by monitoring personnel files and documentation according to federal and state laws
- Perform administrative functions including correspondence, data entry, and report creation
- Interpret and enforce policies by educating staff on employment law and workplace procedures
