Job Duties

  • Manage employee data including new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations in HR systems
  • Assist with recruitment by screening applications, assessing qualifications, and recommending hires
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Handle payroll inquiries and maintain personnel records
  • Support employment transactions such as promotions, transfers, reductions-in-force, and classification reviews
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs and events
  • Maintain compliance by monitoring personnel files and documentation according to federal and state laws
  • Perform administrative functions including correspondence, data entry, and report creation
  • Interpret and enforce policies by educating staff on employment law and workplace procedures
