- Previous stockroom or warehouse experience
Job Duties
- Provide flexibility and open availability to work any shift, any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
- Work a full-time schedule
- Protect all company assets in the stock area including non-stock merchandise
- Provide a safe and clean environment for stock personnel
- Place stock orders as required
- Count and receive incoming merchandise
- report shortages/overages to management in a timely manner
- Count and complete all appropriate paperwork for merchandise returns to vendors
- Receive freight, load, and unload trucks
- Provide ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor
- Isolate, sort, and organize all damaged and outdated products for subsequent supplier credits and returns
- Organize all merchandise for annual inventory
- Assist in inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances
- Notify management of out-of-stock merchandise
- Assist in stocking of stores and backrooms
- Assist in trash removal and recycling
