Job Duties

  • follow a recipe
  • prepare food consistently according to standard operating procedures
  • maintain a clean work environment
  • keep the walk in cooler and freezers organized and rotation FIFO procedures followed
  • unload and put away orders and food in a timely fashion
  • ensure food safety and appropriate sanitation measures are followed
  • heat, cool, and get the temperature of items ready for consumption
  • stock items applying appropriate dating and rotation principles
  • operate and clean commercial restaurant equipment
  • maintain temperature logs, time logs, and waste sheets
  • perform prep work and make sauces
  • wipe down tables, remove garbage or dirty dishes, and sweep floors
  • keep the deli cold case stocked to manager’s par levels
  • help keep the line stocked during busy times
  • perform other projects and duties as assigned
