Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Less than 1 year transportation and logistics, office environment experience
- Forklift certification upon hire
- General computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Ability to operate a forklift and perform warehouse material movement
- Availability to work Sunday through Thursday from 4 PM to 1 AM
- Compliance with company policies and DOT regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Associate's degree preferred
- Less than 1 year transportation and logistics, office environment experience required
- 1+ years general office experience preferred
- General computer skills high
- Ability to perform HUB operations including customer service, dispatch and freight routing
- Ability to prioritize action items to ensure successful shipment coordination
- Experience working in a professional office environment using standard office equipment
- Forklift certification upon hire
Job Duties
- Process inbound and outbound documents, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies as required
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding shipment status and answer telephones at the hub location
- Provide Hub Operations Supervisors with updated information from monitoring inbound boards in AS400
- Provide routing suggestions based on understanding service level requirements
- Update tracking system accurately with departure times and additional information upon shipment departure and arrival
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using a forklift and perform daily warehouse checks
- Prepare inbound paperwork for distribution to Hub Operations Supervisor
- Provide loadouts to Hub Operations Supervisor for scheduled linehauls including necessary paperwork
- Communicate with Corporate Operations Team about adhoc loads and routing requirements
- Conduct investigations for misrouted freight, over, short, and damaged shipments and resolve discrepancies
- File documents and organize materials
- Perform other general office activities as assigned
- Comply with all company policies and standards
