Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • Minimum five years of experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Experience with contract and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to meet operational and business performance goals
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • Five years in the aircraft maintenance industry
  • Experience with contract and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding operational performance goals including on-time performance, maintenance check span, productivity, and safety objectives
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business plan objectives
  • Ability to identify the need for change and implement improvements involving appropriate resources
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional and productive work environments for labor groups and management teams
  • Effective communicator with employees at all levels
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable FAA regulations
  • Skilled in setting up procedures to collect and review organizational information
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and address issues, problems, and opportunities
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

Job Duties

  • Receive and coordinate the recovery of maintenance discrepancies initiated by inbound and outbound flight crews
  • Coordinate and track the recovery of scheduled deferred items
  • Notify and communicate the status of aircraft that are out of service or on a maintenance delay to Maintenance Control and Local Operations
  • Coordinate and track planned maintenance efforts for thru flights
  • Initiate and update Technical Operations Computer System (TOC) and Aircraft Maintenance Information System (AMIS) logs on all aircraft that are out of service, in a planned hold or have significant maintenance activities ongoing
  • Coordinate station supplier requirements that are required to support maintenance activities
  • Identify and communicate maintenance troubleshooting and repair procedures as required
  • Ensure delay reports are entered and compile delay data for tracking and analysis
