Job Duties
- Assist incoming and outgoing guests loading baggage into the van at the hotel, the airport, or other destinations
- transport guests to and from the airport or other guest requested locations
- drive and park safely according to hotel driving policies
- keep all necessary licenses and driving record documents in the car at all times
- ensure passengers take proper safety precautions and remain seated while driving
- report accidents and or vehicle damage immediately to supervisor
- explain and promote hotel services, facilities, and outlets and become informed of upcoming events and functions
- keep the vans interior clean, organized, and fresh-smelling
- ensure the hotels entrance and drive-up areas are always presentable and free from trash
- provide guests with local directions in a courteous and accurate manner
- secure and tag baggage at guest request to store baggage
- transport luggage, items, or goods without passengers when required
- respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure appropriate action
- report complaints and issues to proper management
- follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
- maintain a professional image through appearance and dress
- follow company policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
