Job Requirements

  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull
  • Ability to stand during entire shift
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly and service-oriented attitude

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen cart set-up
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use
  • Replenish chemical bottles
  • Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • Handle Lost and Found items according to standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
