Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • prior experience in Human Resources preferred
  • knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • proficient computer and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Manage E-Verify and I-9 processes
  • coordinate new associate orientations
  • update employment law posters for all store locations
  • upload and organize associate documents in HRIS database
  • assist with job descriptions and postings
  • coordinate employee recognition programs
  • track and record associate performance reviews
  • maintain HR directory and supply site
  • assist with HR University and career fair logistics
  • respond to associate and leader inquiries professionally
  • maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • promote company culture through positive associate interactions
  • manage background check and drug test compliance
  • lead key fob management on Scheels campus
