- one year of human resources experience
- familiarity with state and federal law

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of human resources experience and familiarity with state and federal law
- any combination of experience, education, and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities
- bachelor's degree preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional (CP) or HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred
- experience with Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) or comparable HRIS preferred
- knowledge of UKG workflows, configuration, and report generation preferred
- experience working in a customer service environment preferred
Job Duties
- Verify computer data entries of new employee files and changes in existing employee files using Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG)
- maintain employee files for record and retention keeping
- prepare or maintain employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions using HR management software
- process Personnel Action Notice (PAN form) for employee status, wage, terminations and supervision changes
- assist with scheduling or conducting new employee orientations
- assist with onboarding of new hires including processing documents for E-Verify and background checks
- verify adherence to policies and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations
- complete employment verifications including verbal VOEs
- conduct pre-employment reference checks via phone or email
- confer with HR Manager and outside auditors on audit requests and reports
- provide support to Recruitment team
- assist with setting up conference rooms for orientations and interviews
- order HR supplies as needed
- complete special reports and documentation
- attend trainings and conferences
- perform other duties as assigned
