Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • maintain American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification or complete training
  • capable of standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, skating, and using hands for handling objects and controls
  • willing to perform snow shoveling and cleaning tasks
  • pre-employment drug screen
  • pass employee background check

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds
  • ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • experience in cash handling including basic addition and subtraction preferred
  • ability to learn on the job

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • accept admission and rental payments using cash, credit card, or gift card
  • distribute and exchange ice skates ensuring proper size
  • tie skates back together at the end of skate sessions and return them to the appropriate location
  • operate registration software to register guests, accept payments, and issue appropriate change
  • assist with daily setup and takedown including placement of firepits, stations, skate signage, and skate tags
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace including trash pickup, restroom checks, sweeping floors, wiping windows, and shoveling snow
  • inspect facility and equipment for unsafe conditions and report to supervisor or manager
  • respond to emergencies by administering First Aid and CPR, contacting emergency personnel, and completing incident reports
  • attend all required training sessions, staff meetings, and pre-season training
  • communicate clearly and professionally with staff and guests
