Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable communication and transportation
- Level 2 Security license required
- CPR certification required
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Must be physically able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, hear, see, and speak clearly in English
- Must work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work in elevated noise levels and outdoor venues
- Must be able to remain calm in high-pressure situations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable forms of communication and transportation
- Level 2 Security license required (Level II training and exam provided for free
- all applicants must apply, pass exam, submit to fingerprinting, and criminal background check)
- CPR certificate is required (training provided)
- Strong customer-service attitude and professional appearance
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand and interpret credentials, documents, signs, rules, policies, and instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, patrons, and other employees
- Ability to multi-task, cross-train and learn new skills quickly
- Ability to remain calm and level-headed under high-pressure situations
Job Duties
- Maintain a secure and welcoming environment for hotel guests and event attendees
- Monitor entrances, exits, and event perimeters to prevent unauthorized access
- Support crowd control and enforce safety regulations during events
- Perform regular patrols of hotel grounds and event spaces
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
- Provide assistance, directions, and excellent customer service to guests and staff
- Work closely with hotel security, event coordinators, and front desk teams
- Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
