Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 21
  • culinary arts, nutrition, or home economics degree or H-E-B Culinary certification
  • 3+ years of relevant culinary or food demonstration experience
  • completion or ability to complete TABC Certification
  • advanced knowledge of H-E-B systems and processes
  • excellent customer service skills
  • advanced communication and public speaking skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • availability to work flexible hours and weekends
  • physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 60 lbs
  • adherence to food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, or home economics
  • H-E-B Culinary certification
  • 3+ years of related culinary experience
  • expertise in advanced cooking techniques
  • excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • strong leadership abilities
  • advanced merchandising skills
  • ability to use H-E-B systems and software

Job Duties

  • Serve as backup to department manager
  • train and develop Partners
  • manage inventory and communication for selling events
  • conduct cooking demonstrations and engage with customers
  • plan and execute culinary events
  • maintain merchandising and food safety standards
  • assist with event space and product display planning
