Job Duties
- Performs standard cleaning procedures in all hospital and building areas including patient rooms, surgery areas, and nursing stations
- Performs high dusting, spot cleaning of walls, windows, and doors
- disinfects surfaces
- mops floors
- vacuums carpets
- empties trash
- cleans and polishes fixtures in bathrooms and showers
- Burnishes floors and uses automatic floor machines for cleaning
- Performs check-out cleaning of discharged and transfer units including bed making
- Picks up trash and transports it to designated compactor areas
- Moves furniture and sets up meeting rooms as needed
