Job Requirements

  • Prior work experience in a hotel setting or similar role is helpful but training will be provided
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be personable and attentive to guests
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior work experience in a hotel setting or similar role is helpful, but willing to train the right person
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including 9am-5:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm and weekends/holidays
  • Hyatt brand experience beneficial
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Make rounds through the halls each shift to ensure public areas are clean and tidy, taking care to remove or replace anything out of order
  • Coordinate and help housekeeping with heavy lifting and priority requests
  • Use watchfulness to report missing or found articles and any sign of damage or needed repair
  • Be graciously attentive to guests, answering questions and seeking additional help when needed
  • Communicate and work closely with housekeepers and supervisors to ensure successful teamwork and daily room turnovers
