Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or a related role is preferred but not required
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and hotel cleaning standards
  • strong attention to detail
  • basic maintenance skills including minor repairs
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs
  • availability for overnight shifts including weekends and holidays

  • basic maintenance skills including minor repairs such as changing light bulbs or unclogging toilets
  • good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
  • ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Job Duties

  • Provide professional and courteous service at all times
  • clean and maintain all public areas including restrooms, storage spaces, and administrative areas
  • perform deep cleaning tasks such as cleaning carpets, elevators, gyms, stairwells, and meeting spaces
  • run supplies and service items to guest rooms upon request
  • collect soiled linens and replenish linen supplies in designated areas
  • remove trash from public and back-of-house areas
  • clean outside areas including parking lots and arrival zones
  • perform light maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, door locks, and unclogging toilets
  • salt sidewalks and check for unregistered vehicles in the parking lot, reporting to the night auditor as needed
  • walk the floors every two hours to report unsafe items or issues in public areas
