The Housekeeping Houseperson position is an integral part of the hospitality team, responsible for maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment within a hotel or similar establishment. Job Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift or move items up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all public spaces including hallways restrooms lobbies and service areas
- Deliver linens towels and guest supplies to housekeeping attendants and guest rooms as needed
- Collect soiled linens and trash from designated areas and transport them to laundry or disposal locations
- Ensure housekeeping closets and storage areas are stocked organized and clean
- Assist with deep cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing window washing and furniture moving
- Respond promptly to guest requests or questions and provide courteous service
- Report any maintenance issues safety hazards or damaged items to the housekeeping supervisor
- Follow hotel policies regarding health safety and sanitation
