Job Requirements
- ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift or move items up to 50 lbs
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- reliable and punctual
- physically capable of performing manual housekeeping tasks
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- maintain cleanliness and order in all public spaces including hallways restrooms lobbies and service areas
- deliver linens towels and guest supplies to housekeeping attendants and guest rooms as needed
- collect soiled linens and trash from designated areas and transport them to laundry or disposal locations
- ensure housekeeping closets and storage areas are stocked organized and clean
- assist with deep cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing window washing and furniture moving
- respond promptly to guest requests or questions and provide courteous service
- report any maintenance issues safety hazards or damaged items to the housekeeping supervisor
- follow hotel policies regarding health safety and sanitation
