Job Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience of at least one year
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods
- effective communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends and holidays
- adherence to payroll policies and company safety and security procedures
- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision
- must exercise discretion and confidentiality
- willingness to work primarily during Springboard business hours Monday to Friday but with availability for some weekend/holiday shifts
Job Qualifications
- One or more years previous housekeeping experience
- ability to report unusual occurrences and requests to supervisor
- ability to read and abide by all regulations and rules of conduct stated in the Associate Handbook
- effective communication skills with guests, management, and coworkers
- ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- team player able to work under minimal supervision
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work long hours when required
- physical ability for medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift
- remove newspapers and service trays
- remove trash and/or linens and note any areas needing immediate cleaning
- clean all public areas including hallways, parking lots, elevators, service areas, stairwells following safety procedures
- remove soiled linen, terry and trash from service areas and transport appropriately
- assist section housekeepers with tasks such as bed boards and roll-ways
- report any missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to Housekeeping Supervisor
- receive assigned sections, keys, supplies and priority requests from Senior Housekeeper
- communicate and respond courteously to guests, managers, and associates
- report guest issues and complaints to management
- coordinate work priorities with Senior Housekeeper and provide assistance as needed
- perform special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
