Job Requirements

  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend forward and rotate trunk while standing
  • ability to frequently climb stairs, kneel, and reach both above and below shoulders

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is an asset

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome the guest
  • offer assistance to the guest and respond to the guest's needs promptly and courteously
  • clean corridors, guest areas, lobby, service areas and linen closets
  • empty housekeepers' trash and linen bags
  • carry trash to dumpster
  • deliver rollaway beds and cribs to guestrooms
  • turn mattresses as directed by management
  • stock supplies needed for linen closets
  • vacuum public areas and corridors
  • mop vending machine areas and keep machines clean
  • check and clean all public restrooms several times daily
  • check and clean all elevators several times daily
  • assist with luggage handling
  • strip beds and/or clean rooms when needed
  • check lights and change bulbs
  • maintain outside grounds daily
  • assist in the unloading and storing of deliveries
  • complete duties and confirm on shift checklist as assigned
  • various other duties assigned by supervisor
