Job Requirements
- Prior experience of one or more years in housekeeping
- ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand for entire shift
- effective listening and communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- willingness to work flexible and long hours including occasional weekends or holidays
- adherence to company policies and procedures

- One or more years of previous housekeeping experience
- ability to effectively communicate with guests, management, and coworkers
- ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
- knowledge of company safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift
- remove newspapers and service trays
- empty ash urn receptacles
- remove trash and/or linens
- note any areas that need immediate cleaning
- clean all public areas including hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells following safety and security procedures
- remove soiled linen, terry and trash from service areas and transport to appropriate locations
- lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs
- aid section housekeepers as needed with bed boards, roll-ways
- report any missing/found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to Housekeeping Supervisor
- receive assigned section, keys, supplies, and priority requests from Senior Housekeeper
- communicate and respond in a friendly, helpful, courteous manner to guests, managers, and associates
- report guest issues and complaints to management
- coordinate with Senior Housekeeper on work priorities
- perform special projects and other assigned responsibilities
