Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule including weekends
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and cleaning protocols
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior cleaning experience preferred
- Experience in a full-service hotel a plus
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties and lift heavy items
- Attention to detail
Job Duties
- Coordinate and help housekeeping with heavy lifting and priority requests such as cribs and rollaway beds
- Replenish housekeeper cleaning supplies and assist in cleaning guest rooms
- Remove linen, towels, and trash from guest rooms
- Monitor public areas to ensure they are clean and tidy, including lobby, fitness center, hallways, and public restrooms
- Perform general cleaning such as cleaning sinks and toilets, mopping floors, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning glass doors and windows, and replenishing items like toilet paper and paper towels
- Report missing or found articles and any sign of damage or needed repair
- Assist with laundry tasks as needed
- Be attentive to guests, answering questions and obtaining additional help when required
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform other duties as required
