Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • willingness to work as part of a team
  • commitment to delivering quality guest service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • physical stamina and ability to handle cleaning equipment
  • basic knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
  • perform tasks including dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
  • greet guests in a friendly manner
  • report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
  • perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as mattress flipping and furniture moves
  • deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
