  • experience in a full service hotel or related field preferred
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • ability to stand for entire shift

Job Duties

  • Deliver clean linen to guest room attendants and linen closets
  • collect and deliver dirty linen to laundry
  • collect trash and recycling from guest room attendant's carts and dispose of properly
  • deliver all extra supplies to linen closets
  • vacuum hallways and dust hallway pictures and tables
  • sweep and mop stairwells and service elevator landings
  • sweep and mop vending machine areas and keep machines clean
  • lock all linen closets at the end of the shift
  • turn in all lost and found items following standard procedures
  • flip mattresses as requested
  • ensure all equipment is in operational order and all supplies are adequate, reporting any issues
  • cooperate fully and friendly with other hotel areas to assure customer satisfaction
  • be a team player and encourage teamwork among staff
  • attend department meetings
  • notify management of any pertinent shift information
  • be knowledgeable of all hotel emergency procedures
  • ensure areas are free of safety hazards and perform all duties safely and efficiently
  • work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers and leads
  • perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
  • assist in laundry to wash, dry, and fold linens and terry
