Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience in hospitality or related customer service field preferred
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures accurately
- Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong listening and conflict resolution abilities
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Commitment to hospitality and guest service excellence
- Availability to comply with variable work schedules including nights and holidays
- Punctuality and adherence to timekeeping rules
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including stooping, climbing, lifting, and walking
- Willingness to collaborate and work as part of a team
- Ability to handle guest interactions with patience and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills to convey information clearly
- Desire to serve all guests with hospitality
- Must be 18 years or older
- Willingness to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform essential physical duties satisfactorily
- Adherence to clock-in/out procedures and break schedules
- Provide sufficient notice for call outs
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to make them feel welcomed
- Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Use relevant technology effectively for assigned roles
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
- Keep all front and back of house areas clean and well-organized
- Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests while cleaning with a smile and by name if possible
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean, approved uniform, be well-groomed, and wear a nametag
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate a willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles to meet business needs
- Collaborate to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Store and retrieve luggage or packages for guests
- Clean and maintain guest hallways, stairwells, service areas, ice rooms, and exterior spaces
- Collect trash from all areas including parking lot, pool, and common grounds
- Deliver soiled linens to the laundry room
- Monitor public space furniture and report issues
- Maintain stock levels in guest floor linen closets and replenish amenities
- Stock and maintain housekeeping cart
- Arrive and clock in/out on time
- Follow scheduled breaks
- Provide notice for shift call outs
- Perform physical tasks including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting as required
